Fourth Wave (2020 – 2021)

COVID-19 Study

During the coronavirus pandemic, we have run a series of surveys to find out about the experiences of the participants in five national longitudinal cohort studies, including SABRE. The aim is to understand the health, social and economic impacts of the COVID-19 crisis; the extent to which the pandemic is widening or narrowing inequalities; and the factors which influence vulnerability to catching COVID and resilience to its effects.

A first survey took place in June – July 2020, the second survey took place in November – December 2020 and the third survey was in May – July 2021.
