What is SABRE?

The Southall And Brent REvisited Study (SABRE) is a medical research study involving nearly 5000 European, Indian Asian and African Caribbean men and women. SABRE is funded by two registered charities, the Wellcome Trust and British Heart Foundation and is run by a team now based at University College London with support from experts at the Universities of Bristol, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, Newcastle, Oxford and Washington (Seattle, USA).
